Baggage Regulations

In order to avoid complications at check-in, we ask you to observe and adhere to the specifications of the airlines you have booked when putting together your luggage. You can find information and links to the respective Internet info pages of the airlines we use below.

Economy class passengers can travel on all flights operated by Air Canada / Lufthansa and United Airlines one piece of luggage weighing 23 kg (Max. Circumference 158 cm) post free of charge. For the second piece of luggage, larger pieces of luggage or pieces of luggage over 23 kg, fees will be charged per flight direction on site at the respective airport.

Winter 2019/2020: Ski luggage to Canada free of charge

Air Canada / Lufthansa - Economy Class
On the flights operated by Air Canada / Lufthansa, one piece of baggage weighing 23kg (circumference H + W + D 158cm) can be carried free of charge.

Ski luggage * can be transported free of charge on Air Canada / Lufthansa flights to Western Canada, but must be registered in advance (limited availability, as of April 18, 2018).

For flights to / from the USA we currently charge a fee of € 250 or US $ 287 for ski luggage * per direction of travel.

* 1 pair of skis or 1 snowboard, sticks, helmet and ski boots count as ski luggage. The ski boots may be packed in a separate ski boot bag.

Note: Any baggage costs incurred are not included in our offers and must always be paid to the airline directly at check-in.
