In the StartUP course from Ms. Magnus, Hannah, Finja, Linus, Elina, Vinzenz, Lemmy, Lilian and Lorenz from class 8h founded the student company StickerZ despite the pandemic restrictions!

We continue to teach in the saLzH. In the week 22.2.-26.2. our advanced courses of the 4th semester write their trial exams on site with a mask. We wish you a lot of success!

At the same time, advice on choosing a course for the upper level takes place. We are already looking forward to new "offspring" for our advanced courses and seminar courses.

****** December 2020 ******

In Abitur 20/21 we supervise 27 exams for the 5th PK with economics as a reference or reference subject. The exams for the 5th PK will take place on March 24-26, 21. The two proposals for the Abitur have been submitted to the school management; the focus of the examinations this year is the 1st and 3rd semester. The written Abitur examination will take place on April 12th, 21st.

The 10th grades took part in the stock market simulation game and documented and reflected on their experiences in a portfolio.

On September 9th, 2020 the 1st conference on economics will take place after the 1st departmental conference on social sciences.

From September 1, 2020, the students of the additional course in economics (10th grade) will take part in the stock market simulation game as part of their business lessons.

11.8.2020: The principles for performance evaluation (LER) in the saLzH based on the framework of the Senate Administration were developed for the subject of economics and decided in the overall conference.

August 10, 2020: In the 2020/21 school year we will start together in all Humboldt courses with the Humboldt course "Learning", in which essential digital teaching and learning processes are instructed and practiced. At the end of the day, a digital week is planned before the autumn break, in which the specialist lessons will be tested and reflected on as school-based learning at home (saLzH) with a view to the current situation and advancing digitization.

5.8.2020: We start this school year with five people: Ms. Rücker, Ms. Magnus, Mr. Theiler, Ms. Eisen and Ms. Dr. Bobrik teach economics.

In the 2020/21 school year, we teach the advanced courses in the 12th grade (2) and 13th grade (3), in the additional subject economics in the 10th grade (4), in the Humboldt Start-Up course in the 9th grade (regular learner ) and 8th grade (quick learners and regular learners) as well as in the Humboldt course Money? Money! Money. in the 6./7. Class (fast learner).

Due to the current situation and the associated risk assessment, we are unfortunately not taking part in the business @ school competition with a Q1 advanced course this year.

Dr. Bobrik takes over the management of Ms. Magnus, who in future will advise the students of the Humboldt-Gymnasium even more in the field of career and study orientation.

The 13th grade advanced course students Niklas König (2nd place) and Hannah Holdinghausen successfully take part in the business driving license at the Berlin School of Economics and Law.

I don't know if it was already noted but a second place (Niklas König) in the business driver's license last year and a successful participation (Hannah Holdinghausen). Pictures can actually be found here on the Internet but very hidden ... I just couldn't find them again in a hurry.

In the Humboldt course "StartUP - You too can found a company" on January 30th, 2019, the student companies "auraRe" (electrical scrap recycling) and "BarPaHo" (flexible bicycle bag holder) were founded in cooperation with the JUNIOR project.

During the trial week, the department offers two trial courses "Money? Money! Money." for the quick learners of the 5th grade as well as two taster courses "StartUP- YOU too can found a company!" for the regular learners of the 7th grade. The associated Humboldt courses can be chosen in March 2019.

On January 24th, 2019, the school-internal award ceremony for the participants in the nationwide competition "Stock Exchange" competition of the savings banks will take place in the auditorium of the Green House.
