  • RP-3225: CSS modules: When updating modules, catalog entries from previous module versions are now used, provided their attributes (name, translations) match.Note: So far the catalog entries have been duplicated.
  • RP-4152: Failure Net Editor: For the calculation of an RPN in the failure network, the first subsequent level is now used to determine the B-weighting. As a result, an RPN can also be calculated for a failure network with only two levels.Note: So far, the next but one level has been used to determine the B-rating.
  • RP-4800: Data Manager: If a specific date / person responsible is entered for a symbolic appointment / person responsible, a selection dialog is opened in which the completed measures can be selected, for which the previous symbolic appointment / person responsible is to be replaced by the specific date / person responsible. This ensures that the deadline / responsibility is no longer unintentionally changed when the measures have been completed.
  • RP-5479, RP-5471, RP-5472, RP-5473, RP-5476: The following new options have been implemented:
    • "Combine functions / types of errors with the same name"

- Merging of duplicate instances of functions and error types within the same superordinate system. "Duplicate" means having the same name and number.

    • "Keep line breaks"

- Names with line breaks are now imported as multiple lines (Annotation: Names are only displayed in tables and in the properties dialog in multiple lines).

    • "Import text in error consequences / measures as several objects"

- If separated by a separator and an edit field for entering separators.

It is now also possible to import comments for each object.

There is also a new menu item "File | Import | Update features ... " with which the values or attributes of existing characteristics can be updated. The menu command is available in the Personal Desktop and in the Data Manager | Catalogs | Product / process characteristic types to update values or attributes of characteristic types.

The name in the currently set language is used to find the features / types to be updated. If a value to be updated is translatable, then the value is updated in the current language.

  • RP-5555: FMEDA: The calculation information for the FIT calculation is retained when copying and pasting.
  • RP-5575: Previously, when filtering for the causes of errors, malfunctions that were anchored below requirements were also taken into account. However, these are not visible in the DRBFM worksheet, so that these malfunctions are now disregarded.
  • RP-5577: For filtering according to the risk matrix (BxE or BxA), the first subsequent level is now used to determine B-Max.Note: So far, the next but one level has been used to determine B-Max.
  • RP-5582: Summary-Functions / Placeholders: Update when text was selected, placeholders may have been removed from the text. This has been fixed.
  • RP-5584: Platzhalter / Summary-Functions: If system form filters were used in placeholders, then these might return too many hits. This has been fixed.

  • RP-5615: There is the option in the My Computer Network Settings "Adopt proxy settings from the operating system settings" offered (false by default). When this is activated, the values are taken from the registry. If the function "Update program version" is executed or the CarmNG server is accessed, the current proxy settings are always taken from the registry and used.

Note: If this option is activated, this also affects the connection to the CarmNG server. If the CarmNG server is not to be accessed via the same proxy as the program update, this option must remain deactivated and the proxy settings must be specified manually. If the option is deactivated in the Windows settings, the checkbox in the workstation settings of the IQ-Software is also deactivated and disabled so that the option cannot be checked.

  • RP-5616: Partial XML interface: if a variant is active at the time of the export, it is stored in the XML. • RP-4577: It is now possible to compare an installed module with the status on the CARM server in order to determine any local differences. This is done in the structure editor from the context menu “CSS modules | Compare with module "with selected root system element of the module or via the menu" CARM-Server | CSS modules | Compare with module ". Note: The comparison only takes into account differences in the module itself. Differences in the module transitions are not taken into account.
  • RP-4635: Module variants can now be updated to newer generations.
  • RP-4699: In the dialog "Insert module“Icons for comments are now displayed

Control plan:

  • RP-2585: In the control plan, the "ID number“(Variant-specific) are displayed. The option can be accessed via the dialog for display options under "Options | ID number" to be activated.

  • RP-1403: The Excel export of tables now generates the header data in Excel format as wide (in columns) as the normal data area of the table.
  • RP-4239: Excel import of mechatronic objects: When importing mechatronic objects, these were previously linked in the error network according to the following scheme: Error consequence - Error type - Error reaction - Error detection - Operating status - Error cause
This has been changed so that the failure network is now linked as follows: failure consequence - failure reaction - failure detection - operating state - failure type - failure cause
The previous behavior can be reactivated via an entry in the Windows registry. To do this, the following entry must be made in the branch HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Apis \ IQ65 \ \ Settings:
    Key: 'use_RP_4239_Implementation' Value (DWORD): '0'

  • RP-4417: If a group of measures does not contain any measures, its RPN is also shown in brackets as shown in the structure editor.
  • RP-4448: In the FMEA cover sheet, the option “Right click | Insert file name ”is available again.

IQ Explorer:

  • RP-4006: The parameterizable system filters "Object properties do not match" or "Object properties match" now also take into account the object attribute "ID number" for the comparison, if required. The object attributes to be compared can be selected via the properties dialog of the filter.
  • RP-4636: The list of causes / consequences is now omitted in the variant comparison table if the malfunction / function is excluded from the variant under consideration anyway. This reduces the size and complexity of the comparison table.
  • RP-4652: When opening the variant comparison table in connection with evaluations of displayed measures, the error “ActionsGroup >> # discoveriesForFaded“ not understood ”could occur. This has been fixed.

Network editors:

  • RP-3356: Failure Net Editor: With the menu command "Edit | New | Link causes / consequences from the functional network"It is now possible to define new malfunctions directly in the dialog that opens via the context menu.
  • RP-4433: The message when deleting links in the event of multiple marking has been adjusted. The text "Clear?“Has been replaced by the text "Delete links anyway„.
  • RP-4541: The request introduced with Service Pack 0120 when tying nets (with activated option "Confirm mouse actions") has been removed again. The previous state is thus restored.

Personal Information Manager (PIM):

  • RP-4547: Personal Information Manager: the insertion of an individual quality report (IQR) via menu has been adapted to the insertion of text templates in comment fields. If necessary, the IQR can be selected from the configuration file or the fme document.
  • RP-4596: When copying objects with PIM bookmarks, the reference of the PIM bookmark now remains with the original. The synchronization of copied PIM bookmarks in the PIM editor works again.
  • RP-4623: If cross-file bookmarks were created, the synchronization via icon or menu “Edit | Don't sync bookmarks "in the unopened file. This has been fixed.

Statistics editor:

  • RP-4555: Frequency analysis: When printing, the language in the legend does not match the language for content. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4600: After changing the document language, a set filter was ignored. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4691: Difference analysis: When filtering in the error sequence column, the error message “FmeaStatDiffAttachment >> # notesObject not understood” could appear. This has been fixed.

Tools and dialogues:

  • RP-513: In the case of multilingual documents, a message is displayed in the merge dialog if the translations of the objects to be merged are inconsistent.
  • RP-1528: When deleting a structure, the variants and Versions that are affected by the deletion.
  • RP-1897: The dialog for renaming occurrences now allows textual "filtering" for certain occurrences, e.g. only within a structure.
  • RP-3596: In the settings of the print order there is now the possibility to explicitly define the alignment of the table of contents. The two options portrait and landscape are possible. Only one of the two or neither can be chosen. In the latter case, the alignment of the general higher-level print settings (previous behavior) is used. This is also the standard behavior.
  • RP-4524: As a default setting for the option “Merge Incidents” in the “Merge” dialog, the last status is retained for the duration of the current session.
  • RP-4644: Filter dialog (detail filter): the "Levels" button now always opens the filter criteria dialog for all selectable levels. The "Criteria" button, on the other hand, opens the filter criteria dialog only for the currently selected filter level (analogous to double-clicking on the level).

XML interface:

  • RP-4562: If data is transferred via the partial XML interface, the structural dependencies are reconstructed, if possible, when the data is re-imported.
  • RP-4657: XML import: the message "There were no problems during the data check" is without further information and will therefore be suppressed in the future.
  • RP-4665: RIF import: in addition to the RIF format, requests from XML files can now also be imported in ReqIF format.
  • RP-4670: If the features are not explicitly modeled when importing XML files, then the features were previously imported as process features. This default behavior has changed and product features are generated from it instead.
  • RP-4677: XML import: if the workstation setting "Derive new fault tree automatically from the fault network" is active during the import, the imported fault trees were overwritten from Service Pack 0100. This has now been remedied so that the error trees from the XML file are retained again regardless of the workstation setting (see above).

Maintenance customer functionality:

  • RP-3449: Via the properties dialog for the fme document (File | Properties | Settings) all relevant workstation and document settings as well as the set directories can now be displayed in a centralized form. These can be copied, sent by e-mail, printed out or exported as HTML.
  • RP-4550: In the Web Publisher, the option “Create reference file for the current job in the parent directory” can be used to generate an HTML file with the name of the export job in the parent directory of the export directory that corresponds to the last carried out export of this web publisher order.
  • RP-4552: When exporting variant-specific documents, the Web Publisher now offers an additional navigation option with access via the variants. In addition to listing the variants involved in the export, hyperlinks can be used to navigate to the individual variant-specific documents.
  • RP-4662: RIF / ReqIF import: Maintenance customers can now have this import option by default. A description of how to use the interface can be found here: https://www.apis.de/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/apis_rif_import_20111110_0.pdf

Custom changes:

  • RP-2847: Bosch - CARM-Server module variants: In the Services Manager it is now possible to select a module and its associated module variant and to compare the two selected elements via the context menu. This works in the same way as the known functionality of the module version comparison.

Service Pack IQ Version 6.5 - 0120

Generally:

  • RP-373: Via the document settings, you can now always use the function “Register persons via LDAP server”, regardless of other settings or expansion stages. However, the option can only be activated or deactivated by the supervisor. This function supports the central administration of persons and passwords using the LDAP server. In order for the synchronization to work, there must be a connection to the stored LDAP server.
  • RP-610: It is now possible to import a list of product or process characteristics from an Excel file. Via the new menu item “File | Import | Import characteristics… ”in the Personal Desktop or in the Data Manager“ Catalogs ”characteristics or characteristic types with their corresponding attributes (e.g. number, comment, value, etc.) can be imported.
  • RP-2279: The network editors now take into account the setting "Confirm mouse actions“(In the menu Extras | Workplace settings) and ask for drag & drop when the setting is set.
  • RP-3112: In the failure net editor it is now possible to sort according to the "name of the function / feature".
  • RP-3142: Using a new workstation setting (system optimization | automatically derive new fault tree from the fault network), the previous automatism when creating a fault tree can now be deactivated.
  • RP-4002: When objects are merged, the complete new name is entered in a dialog and the reference object is determined.
  • RP-4204: In the filter dialog, several filters can now be selected at the same time (multi-selection via Ctrl + left mouse button) and deleted. This means that each filter no longer has to be marked and deleted individually.
  • RP-4205: If the mouse remains over the hot-click symbol for the comment in the filter dialog, the comment of a filter is now displayed as a preview via an info bubble.
  • RP-4288: The extended placeholder function for text templates introduced with SP0100 can now be used directly for conversion into static text. To do this, the starting sequence of the placeholder must be introduced with a double% sign. Example:% sfil (search filter name)% creates a dynamic placeholder (replaced text retains the placeholder function and can be updated). %% sfil (search filter name)% creates a static placeholder (text becomes static text immediately after replacement).
  • RP-4304: In addition to the configuration file, the text templates can now also be saved directly in the fme and are therefore available regardless of the workstation. The corresponding commands can be reached via the submenu "Text templates -> Text templates (cfg) or Text templates (fme)". Templates from the configuration file can be transferred to the fme and vice versa using the export and import function.
  • RP-4330: If data with comments and embedded files (graphics, etc.) were written into the template, the embedded files may not have been transferred. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4337: When filtering in the form / deadline tracking, filtering for "has an error result with ... is anchored in system element with ..." could lead to runtime errors under certain circumstances. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4338: In the control plan editor or process flow diagram, the dependent objects (characteristics, etc.) are also copied when copying system elements using drag & drop. This also works across files and is therefore compliant with the copy operations using drag & drop in other editors. If the system elements are to be copied without dependent objects, this can be done using the special drag (i.e. drag & drop with the right mouse button) using the corresponding option in the menu.
  • RP-4348: When exiting a network version of the program, an error message could appear if the connection to the file sharing of the program installation was interrupted. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4363: Search results of global measures were not consistently displayed in the same way in connection with the person responsible, date and first measure status. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4367: In the matrix editors (component function matrix, variant matrix, variant transition matrix) the export as HTML or Excel file can be accelerated if in the dialog for display options under “HTML / XLS Export “| "Replace symbol with" a value is entered. In the exported file, this value is then inserted in the matrix instead of the symbol.
  • RP-4368: The object icons for the following object types have been adapted / revised: error detection function type, error reaction function type, error detection function, error reaction function, error detection, error reaction
  • RP-4374: Personal Information Manager (PIM): The WYSIWYG editing of lists and paragraphs in comment fields has been improved.
  • RP-4377: FMEA evaluations: The content of the "FMEA type" field is now displayed in the document language and not, as before, in the user interface language.
  • RP-4378: In addition to the two options, there is now, in addition to the two options, the source object via special drag (drag & drop with the right mouse button) from the catalog editor as a text copy (type association is lost) or together with all context objects (e.g. "Catalog -> known Take over malfunctions ”), the third option for copying without dependent objects (type association is retained, context objects are not adopted).
  • RP-4404: If comments are opened in several desktops and from different files via the note window, then files may have been closed and the content in the personal desktops changed when the "Edit" button was pressed. This has been fixed.

Analysis Desktop:

  • RP-4380: In the Analysis Desktop, the IQ object IDs can now be displayed in the "Open Points List" evaluation and in the "Schedule".

CARM Server:

  • RP-2083: In the editor "CSS catalogs"The" Edit "menu has been expanded to include the command"Search…“Expanded.
  • RP-4456: In the "CSS Module" editor, the context menu in the "Modules" area has been expanded to include the "Notify module user ..." command.
  • RP-4491: The option "Adopt specific dates for modules" was not taken into account when transferring module variants. This has been fixed.

Data Manager:

  • RP-2027: If the date or the person responsible is changed in the catalog of measures for a global measure, a note is made as to how often this global measure is used and a confirmation query as to whether the change should be carried out.
  • RP-4267: So far, the text search has also made it possible to select user-defined attributes in the catalogs. However, since these are not assigned to the catalog entries, but to the occurrences, this selection option in the data manager is meaningless and is therefore now prevented.
  • RP-4298: In the comment list, comments for "groups of measures" have been added to the selection list as a separate item.
  • RP-4401: Terminology and translation: The highlighting or filtering of "not translated" or "not up-to-date" translations was not carried out correctly. This has been fixed.

Print / WebPublisher:

  • RP-4346: WebPublisher / Presentation Printing: if you select the structure list or the structure tree in connection with several manually selected variants and filters, the result was not output correctly. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4369: WebPublisher / Presentation printing: when the structure table was output in connection with manually defined display options, the display options were not correctly transferred to the output. This has been fixed.

FMEA form editor:

  • RP-4246: The copy actions via drag & drop in the form have been adapted so that the attributes "Responsible", "Deadline" and "Status" are transferred from the source to the target object. This now behaves analogously to the copy actions in the structure editor and the function and error analysis.
  • RP-4455: Under certain circumstances the Bosch form layout got the error “RevisionState >> # notesSignificance“ not understood ‘. The error occurred if there was a cause of the error with a status of measures without groups of measures and the attribute "No further measures planned" is set for this status and the display option "Show comment" is switched on. This has been fixed.

Graph editor:

  • RP-3995: A new graph is now always opened in the butterfly partial view. Exceptions:
    • Context menu command: "Graph Editor (Complete Graph)"
    • "Open graph" section: "Open other error graph / function graph"
  • RP-4319: For commands in the "Analysis of actual values (functional safety)" section, only relevant paths are displayed as the result. Example: an analysis with regard to missing values only shows paths with missing values as the result.

IQ Explorer:

  • RP-4342: In the IQ Explorer, the file attributes that are assigned via the operating system are now also displayed in the "File search" tab. This makes it easy to see which files are write-protected (e.g. "ra" stands for "read-only" and "to be archived (archive)"). In addition, the following commands can now be executed via the right-click menu above the file list: Open document, open directory in Windows Explorer and copy the file name to the clipboard.
  • RP-4370: There is now the option of displaying the tests in the grouped results list in the IQ Explorer in the search result for characteristics. In addition to the name of the test, the sample size and sample frequency are visible. The display of the tests belongs to the area of additional information (such as comments, user-defined attributes, ...) for the grouped result list. This means that the display of this column can be controlled using the display option "Result list (grouped) with additional information (comments ...)" (menu: "Display options | Other").
  • RP-4427: When searching for modules on the CARM server, the module category can also be used as a filter criterion. In the future, the hierarchically higher-level module categories can also be taken into account when searching. This can be controlled via the properties of the search filter in the filter dialog | Attributes | Search networks / structures recursively down to depth 0 (option must be active).

Consolidation:

  • RP-4106: If the new workstation setting (System optimization | Consolidation) "Archive documents automatically after consolidation" is active, the primary and secondary documents are automatically moved to a subfolder "archive" after consolidation. The file names are preceded by the current date and time. In this way, only the documents to be consolidated remain in the actual consolidation directory.
  • RP-4321: If various files to be consolidated contain object bookmarks to external files that are not locally available, this led to the message "Path not found" during consolidation. This message will not apply in the future.

Statistics editor:

  • RP-2299: For selected analyzes, it was possible to hide columns in the result list using checkboxes.
  • RP-4334: With the QFD evaluations you can now open the corresponding matrix via a command in the context menu.
  • RP-4414: When printing a variant-specific, form-related analysis, not only the selected forms but all forms contained in the variant were taken into account. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4476: Under certain conditions, the “UndefinedObject >> # x” error could occur when displaying the frequency analysis. This has been fixed.

Structure editor:

  • RP-227, RP-2799, RP-3270: The functionality "Show measure (s) for linked causes“From the context menu has been improved. It is now possible to select several measures of the same malfunction by multi-selection and to show them together. Furthermore, the dialog that opens now allows you to choose between direct and basic causes, and the points at which the measure (s) are already displayed are displayed.
  • RP-4270: When dragging and dropping a measure from the structure editor into the failure net editor with the right mouse button, a runtime error could occur. This has now been fixed.
  • RP-4402: In the text search in the structure editor, it is possible to select the options "Mark all entries found" and "Mark all entries found across the entire tree". Since both options are mutually exclusive in terms of content, only one or none of these two options can now be selected.

XML interface:

  • RP-3994: In the case of partial XML export of network objects, the network links are reconstructed during import, provided that the objects involved in the network (functional or failure network) are contained in the target file.
  • RP-4344: XML interface: via the workstation setting 'Export B-Max for all malfunctions that have no or a lower B-rating' it can be controlled whether the maximum B- Evaluation should be deposited. This is done if this option is active, the malfunction has no direct B-rating or the B-Max is greater than the direct B-rating. This setting is deactivated by default, as determining the B-Max can result in a longer export time. The value is stored in the so-called SDGS container: 10 < / SDGS>
  • RP-4372: The XML export of variant-specific user-defined attributes could lead to a runtime error if previously involved user-defined attributes were deleted. This has been fixed.
  • RP-4375: When importing RIF data (XML), the “Import dialog | Import options ”now allows you to determine the type of object as which the data from the RIF file should be transferred (system element, function, characteristic, malfunction, measure). If objects with the same ID have already been imported into the same fme, then these will be retained and will not be replaced.

Maintenance customer functionality:

  • RP-4287: Maintenance customers can now create so-called "IQR" (individual quality reports) in the Personal Information Manager. These are based on the extended placeholder functions introduced with SP0100 in text templates. You can get a detailed description of the functionality from our support.

The Service Pack V6.5 - 0112

Generally:

  • RP-4313: Service Packs V6.5 - 0110/0111 contained a serious problem:
If a new occurrence of a global measure is generated, then the global measure erroneously loses the (non-variant-specific) date / status information. It is also no longer possible for the user to permanently restore this information.
This problem has been resolved. In addition, when opening a file, the user is now informed if the file contains (possibly) affected global measures. For these measures, public PIM entries are created that must be processed and checked in the Personal Information Manager. No notice is displayed for files that are not affected by the problem.

Release date: Feb 23, 2016

Service Pack IQ Version 6.5 - 0110

Generally:

  • RP-1815: The dialog for renaming now has a new check box with which you can only display the occurrences of the active variant (s).
  • RP-1816: When deleting a user-defined attribute, a list is now made of which objects in the database this user-defined attribute is referenced by.
